The GS1650 retractable stand is a lightweight and compact yet highly sturdy stand with an innovative design. The stand offers great support for Ukulele, Mandolin, Violin and Viola (includes bow rest). It has retractable legs with non-slip rubber feet to keep the stand in place whether on stage or just for display purposes.

The foam covered neck and body supports will make sure that your instrument remains scratch free. This stand is extremely easy to assemble and pack away and is height adjustable from 35cm to 56cm.

**Not suitable for tenor ukuleles**

Purchased this item to use as mandolin stand and it is perfect, strong sturdy construction, neat foldaway design, highly recommended

When delivered this stand is folded into a very compact size making it extremely portable. The legs unfold by pulling down and rotating outward and locking into rubber locks. The neck holder rotates into position. The neck holder also has a rubber barrier to prevent instrument from falling forwards. The pole on which the neck holder is attached is adjusted by slackening the nut at the back and raising the pole to the correct position. This is easy to do and the pole has indentations to set the correct height for instrument and enables the securing nut to lock into this indent. I think this is an excellent stand and represents good value for money. I personally think this deserves 5 stars out of 5.

I already have several mandolin stands, so when this arrived (very promptly) it looked like a small improbable metal puzzle. It actually opens out into a quite useful stand, a little smaller than most but adequate and it will fold away to very little. Overall - good value and in daily use, so, not bad.
