Introducing the All solid acacia concert ukulele

The all-solid acacia body is perfectly balanced to create a ukulele with the best possible tone that also feels easy and comfortable to play. The open pore finish shows off the natural beauty of the solid acacia, with quality features providing visual accents as well as ensuring a quality of build and sound that will impress even the most discerning of ukulele players.

Part of the Octopus ‘All Solid’ range, the natural resonance of the Koa wood family provides a fully rounded sound with rich and complex overtones and an impressive projection. Robust yet elegant, this ukulele affords the player a sense of confidence in the instrument, both in its sturdiness and inherent musicality.

Each ukulele features the highest standard of finish, including perfectly rounded off frets to protect your fingers, NuBone nut and saddle as well as Aquila Nylgut strings for optimal tone production. Whether you’re practising at home or performing on stage, this solid acacia ukulele will not only sound and feel great to play, but will look stunning too!

Quality components

The materials used in each Octopus ukulele have been carefully selected for tone production and longevity. A tie bar bridge is accurately bonded to the body for excellent sound production and silver chrome diecast tuners offer reliable tuning in a shiny finish. The side walls are fully lined for sound projection and a high-quality appearance.

Stunning design

Ranging from a deep brown to medium reds, the naturally varied grains of the acacia wood is effortlessly accented with the genuine Mother of Pearl rosette and black border outlining the circumference of the ukulele. This ukulele also features the iconic Octowave headstock with an Octopus logo.

Graph Tech NuBone XB nut and saddle

Nubone doesn't damp string vibration like plastic - instead, it transfers the optimum frequencies to the ukulele. Essentially, this new material helps produce more volume and a better tone.

Aquila Nylgut® strings

Each ukulele comes fitted with Aquila Nylgut® strings as standard - the best in the world for intonation and tone. Produced exclusively in Italy, the Aquila factory manufactures approximately 300,000 ukulele strings every day – that’s enough to re-string 75,000 Octopus ukuleles!

Free carry case with every instrument

A next-level ukulele deserves to be carried in a next-level gig bag! We have created a beautiful, padded gig bag for the Octopus Ukulele, providing your instrument with the ultimate protection. Finished off with bespoke Octopus zip pulls, each gig bag has a pair of adjustable integrated backpack straps.

Size and range

Concert ukuleles are slightly larger and longer than the standard soprano at 23” (58cm), and they have a few extra frets on the neck meaning a slightly larger range. Also, the extra size makes the concert have a louder and fuller sound as well as allowing for more space between the strings.
